Personality: Dodger is a very easy going fella. He doesn't let anything get to him and considers himself care free. He loves his friends, (not that he remembers them) and when he has friends he is very loyal to them, as well as incredibly protective. He will do anything to help out a friend in need. He is a very crafty person, as well as slightly mischievous. He loves showing off too. He is slightly arrogant though, and doesn't like sharing glory. If he does something awesome, he wants all the credit, even if somebody else deserves a little too. But he will share....although sometimes unwillingly. He makes friends easily(ish) and doesn't hide stuff from people. He likes joking around, and has a very sarcastic nature. He loves music and hot dogs, and he doesn’t particularly care for cats, except for one in particular. He is very charismatic. People get along with him easily and he doesn’t have very many enemies. He doesn’t let idiots get on his nerves…they aren’t worth it. He is very creative and resourceful. If something needs to be done, he will come up with a plan to get it done. He is good at strategizing and explaining the plan to other people.
Before: New York City. It’s the city that never sleeps. Life was great if not somewhat difficult. He lived with his group of canines with a friendly poor guy name Fagin. Dodger kind of led the canines on trips through the city to steal things that people a) wouldn't notice there gone, and b) food so that Fagin could sell stuff and make some money to repay Sikes, a super mean man that kept threatening to kill him if he didn't give him his money. Then that cat showed up. Oliver was a young orange tabby kitten that had a knack of finding his way into trouble. It wasn’t long before Oliver found a home with Jenny, a little red haired girl with some super rich parents. Fagin found out about Oliver and Jenny and held the cat for ransom. Then Jenny ended up getting kid napped in an attempt to rescue Oliver, the little kitten that started the whole thing. Then Dodger and the gang ended up doing a rescue mission, and rescued the girl, and Sykes ended up disappearing for good. Fagin got a reward for rescuing Jenny, and now lives fairly comfortably…although still on that crappy house boat. Oliver lives with Jenny, and he and Dodger still hang out a lot…up until the virus of course.

After: Dodger woke up in the house boat. The swaying of the boat on the water lured him awake, and he opened his eyes slowly, looking around as he stretched. Then he panicked. Where was he? How did he get there? This was all really weird. There were all kinds of other dogs lying around, and although he knew he must know them, he sure didn’t recognize any of them. He stood up quietly, before anybody else woke up, and bolted up the stairs and out into the morning dawn. He didn’t like not knowing what was going on, it made him nervous. So he started wondering. He didn’t really know where he was going, but before long he found himself in Central Park. Grass was everywhere and there were a few ponds. He occupied himself for a few minutes by chasing pidgins and rolling in the grass, but it didn’t help to occupy his mind. What was going on? Why didn’t he know what was going on? Why didn’t he know where he was? He wanted to talk to the friends that he knew he had to have somewhere…maybe he would know them when he saw them. So then he started rambling around New York City, hoping to stumble across someone he knew…or at least someone that could help him.
And what do you think you’d understand? I’m a boy, no, I’m a man.
